Chapter Summary:

Katniss she that Rue is pointing at something above her head, it was a tracker-jacker there are some wasps. Katniss to cut this down to let it fall into the Careers. Glimmer was stabbed and died. Katniss gets herself three jacks when she cut this down. She went to the pool and clean it up. Katniss then decided to try and steal the bow that glimmer was when Carriers came back, he called to her, Peeta, Run Katniss run.

Chapter Summary:

Katniss became scared when she woke up and saw that the fires in the forest law. She had to find a safe place, when she realized that she was in a safe place then went more fireballs to rain down, she got one in the calf. She found the water to clean the blood off your hands, face and to clear the calf. Katniss heard someone approaching and ran off, but it was hard after her leg so she climbed up to the next tree, when she reached the top she saw five Careers and Peeta.

They tried to kill Katniss with their weapons. Katniss was trying to rest when she saw the glitter in the eyes of a tree she thought it was a possum, but then she saw that it was Rue from District 11

Impressions/Thoughts: I think Katniss is a very strong person.

Chapter Summary:

Peeta has teamed up with the Career Tributes. Katniss catches a glimpse of him and he's bloody and bruised and bandaged. Then Peeta leaves the group for a moment to make sure the girl they've just killed is actually dead. That's when Katniss overhears the others say that they're basically using Peeta to find her. Katniss was so hungry so she went down from the tree eand hunted a rabbit to eat. Katniss was afraid to die because she has no food or drink, she needs water. When she was lay in a mud she found a water, she filled her flask and drink it. No one died this day.

Impressions/Thoughts:

Katniss is a very strong person. I want to be like her.

chapter 11

Chapter Summary: Katniss finds herself on a metal circle in the arena. She wonders if she should stay at the Cornucopia to fight for food, weapons and medicine, or head for water, as Haymitch commanded her to do.

She saw a lake back at the Cornucopia, but headed in the opposite direction. She's a day's journey away by now. No point in going back.

By late afternoon, Katniss hears the cannons, which are shot every time a tribute is killed. The fighting at the Cornucopia must have stopped. The cannon fires eleven times; that means eleven are dead. Thirteen candidates are left. Katniss thinks of Peeta and wonders if he is dead. Maybe it's better if he's out of the game.

Impressions/Thoughts:

I think it was a good idea when Katniss decided to disappear, despite the fact that she had no food or drink. She'll be ok.

Chapter Summary:

Peeta was talking about Katniss in the interview, Katniss was very angry with Peeta. The games are begin and katniss and Peeta have to say goodbye to Cinna, Portia and Effie. Katniss is afraid and stressed for the games, she can´t got to sleep. She went up to the roof to get some fresh air. Peeta came also because he can´t sleep. Peeta things he is going to die, katniss is not going to die becaus she is going back to her family.
