Chapter Summary:

At the end of Chapter 25, they were going to eat the berries. They spit the berries , and rinse theyr mouth with water. Hovercraft came and helped them up. When the door closes down Peeta drooped down. The doctors do wounds Peeta. Syringe is inserted into Katniss and she falls asleep. When she wakes up again and all the scars healed, she has got a hearing again and the body so clean. Avox came to her and she asked him if Peeta made it, he said yes. Katniss tries to stand on his feet but is still easily rather weak. One day Katniss wakes up and sees that it is no longer connected to it, all the scars disappeared and the skin like satin. Katniss goes with Cinna to be ready for the reunion. Cinna brought her yellow dress, Katniss had lost a few pounds. She was very weak to see, her only hope was to show them how she was in love of Peeta. She knows that she and Peeta are in danger and even her family.

Cato, Katniss and Peeta run ahead of strange large wolves. Katniss plan to shoot them when she looks into his eyes and sees that these are not wolves but human beings. The Capitol has created death tributes of killer wolves. Katniss shit to one of them. Then she Foxface, the boy from District 9 and RUE. Peeta recognize it too. The fight continues. But its arrows are unprofitable. If she shoot Cato he will take Peeta down whit him to the wolves. Peeta gives Katniss the signal to shoot in Cato hands, she did that and he falls to the wolves. Katniss watches over Peeta, he is wounded in the leg.
Katniss takes up the berries that killed Foxface, they get the idea of eating them together so neither of them would winn the games. Then they heard the voice announcer stop stop, ladies and gentlemen, I am leased to present the victors of the Seventy-fourth Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark

Katniss told Peeta that he killde Foxface, but he don't understand how he could kill her. Katniss told him that she must have been watching him and eat the berries. They were lucky to not have eat the berries. Katniss want to clime up a tree to rest, but Peeta can't do that because of his leg so they sleep in a den. They take turns to sleep. The gamemakers wants them to got to the lake, and wait there for Cato. In the end Cato came running, Katniss shoot him with arrow in the chest. Cato was running for them, he is running from something, but what?

Chapter Summary: Katniss and Peeta was eating a small portion. They have to saving the food. Katniss and Peeta are thinking about if they would win the game, then they would move together in a house that Capitol have build for them in victor's Village and Haymitch will be their neighbor.

Katniss understands the messages through the gifts Haymitch are sending. Katniss finds iut Thresh is dead, she was sad. Now they are only four after in the game, Katniss, Peeta, Foxface and Cato. Katniss went to hunt, and she told Peeta to be on place while she go hunring, Katniss thaugt peeta a whistle to use to say he's ok. In the end Foxface get killed, she had eaten the berries.

Chapter 22

Katniss wake up, she is weak and dizzy. Katniss was dreaming, she thinks she is at home, she finds she was home and her other strokes her cheek.

Peeta takes care of Katniss. Peeta told her that he ate all the food. Katniss told him it was fine, she is going too hunt later. They go to sleep in the sleeping bag and Peeta put his arms around Katniss.

Katniss told Peeta that she's sorry about drugging him. Katniss asks Peeta when he got a crush on her. He told her that begin when they were five years old. Katniss told Peeta that she is show him attention. Katniss is confused. Haymitch send them a basket with party food.

Chapter Summary: Katniss gave peeta something to eat, than he fall a sleep and Katniss take care of him. When Peeta woke up his fever was down. He told her to take a little nap, he would think about it for a while. Peeta told Katniss to tell him some beautiful story, but the first thing she thought was when she and gale started to hunt. It was not perhaps to tell that story, so she changes the story to prims goat. Katniss made a soup for her and Peeta.

Katniss get some vial from Haymitch and it was medicine to save Peeta and when he take it he will knock out for a full day. Peeta realizes that when he takes the last spoon that she's giving him sleeping pills, he is going to spit on the Experience superior when Katniss grabs his mouth.

She finds Peeta in a mud, she starts to help him out of the mud. Katniss helped Peeta to wash his leg. She put leaves on the wound like she did with rue, so she brought him cream. Katniss gave Peeta a kiss, than she got a message from Haymitch, romance = sponsors. More kissing.

Impressions/Thoughts: I thing Katniss is great because she is helping Peeta.

Katniss managed to kill the boy from District 1 before he managed to pull a spear. Rue has a spear into her body, Rue asked Katniss to sing lullaby for her and the mockingjay take up the song. Katniss cries because Rue is dying, she decided to gathers lots of beutiful wildflowers and decorates Rue's body with them, she wants to show the world Rue is not just there for their entertainment. She is a person.

Katniss things Rue is save because the mockingjay are singing her songs. Katniss climbs up a tree to get faraway from this day and eats the bread that district 11 gave her Katniss fall a sleep and dreams about Rue. The hungergames announcer Claudius Templesmith start talking there are 6 along and changes the rules, two from the same district can win games.

She went to the place that she and Rue decided to light the fire but Rue wasnt there. Katniss decides to find her, then sudden she heard Rue's signal from mockingjay. Katniss starts to follow the bird, then she hears a girl screming. When katniss came she saw Rue in a net on the ground and spear enterts her body.

Rue is Katniss so helpful, she can't die.

The plan is to Katniss go and spy on Career as they stay in the middle of the woods. Rue turn fire to come the Career away from the camp. Katniss realized that the other girl tried to get into the camp there were bombs all over, so she shot a bag full of balls with arrows so they dropped the bag and blow up the camp

Katniss became scared when she woke up and saw that the fires in the forest law. She had to find a safe place, when she realized that she was in a safe place then went more fireballs to rain down, she got one in the calf. She found the water to clean the blood off your hands, face and to clear the calf. Katniss heard someone approaching and ran off, but it was hard after her leg so she climbed up to the next tree, when she reached the top she saw five Careers and Peeta.

They tried to kill Katniss with their weapons. Katniss was trying to rest when she saw the glitter in the eyes of a tree she thought it was a possum, but then she saw that it was Rue from District 11

Impressions/Thoughts: I think Katniss is a very strong person.

Katniss was so hungry so she went down from the tree eand hunted a rabbit to eat. Katniss was afraid to die because she has no food or drink, she needs water. When she was lay in a mud she found a water, she filled her flask and drink it. No one died this day.

Katniss is a very strong person. I want to be like her.

Chapter Summary: Katniss finds herself on a metal circle in the arena. She wonders if she should stay at the Cornucopia to fight for food, weapons and medicine, or head for water, as Haymitch commanded her to do.

She saw a lake back at the Cornucopia, but headed in the opposite direction. She's a day's journey away by now. No point in going back.

By late afternoon, Katniss hears the cannons, which are shot every time a tribute is killed. The fighting at the Cornucopia must have stopped. The cannon fires eleven times; that means eleven are dead. Thirteen candidates are left. Katniss thinks of Peeta and wonders if he is dead. Maybe it's better if he's out of the game.

Impressions/Thoughts:

I think it was a good idea when Katniss decided to disappear, despite the fact that she had no food or drink. She'll be ok.

They have three days where all of the tributes train together and after that they will train in private. The days are difficult for Katniss and Peeta. Should they be friends or not. Chapter Summary:

Katniss been in the designs for 3 hours. So she meets her stylist Cinna.

They eat together and try and get some ideas of costumes for the opening ceremony. Attire should be in line with the industry, Peeta and Katniss must therefore be something related to coal.

Cinna and Portia will focus on something with fire because coal is burned.
They will be dressed in black and in leather boots. When they then go on opening day will be kindled fire on their chariot rolls.

Impressions/Thoughts: it is very weird that everybody should wear costumes and that they had to change Katniss's look and all that.

Chapter Summary:

A very drunk Haymitch, the former champion who is supposed to be mentoring Katniss and Peeta, slips around in his own vomit.Peeta offers to clean Haymitch up, which Katniss wonders about until she realizes that Peeta is being kind. Kind? This could be bad for the Games since kind people have a way of working their way inside Katniss and rooting there Flashback alert. Katniss tells us what happened those many years ago after Peeta gave her the bread and she saw the dandelion. She and Prim go to the Meadow where they gather enough dandelion greens for a huge salad. Katniss realizes she could scavenge for even more food with her mother's book from the apothecary. Katniss also begins going under the fence surrounding District 12 and out into the woods to hunt. She uses the small bow and arrow that her father had made for her and hidden in a hollow tree. Katniss kills a rabbit on her first day and the family has meat for the first time in months. Over the course of time, Katniss is able to use the woods as the family's main food source: eggs, fish, rabbits, squirrels, and plants.

They get only one hour to say goodbye to family and loved ones.

Prim and Mother visit Katniss. She gives them instructions for her absence. They are not to accept tesserae for Prim, but instead get by selling goat milk and Mother's apothecary business. Gale is to supply the herbs. Katniss warns her mother that she can't become depressed again and "clock out," leaving Prim on her own. Prim makes Katniss promise to try to win; despite Katniss's doubts about her ability in the competition, she agrees. The next visitor is, to Katniss's surprise, Peeta Mellark's father, the baker. Without his witchy wife around, he's much nicer. He offers Katniss a white paper package of cookies and promises to keep an eye of Prim. After the baker leaves, Madge, the mayor's daughter enters the room. She offers Katniss a circular gold pin to wear as a token of District 12. On the pin is a small bird. Katniss agrees.

Why is not enough for them to fight for victory but not death??

Chapter Summary:

This was the day in Distritc 12. Day of the riping. When they choose a contestant for the hunger Games. The bubbly effie Trinket is on hand to pull the names out of the hat. First up, the ladies. The name she reads out gasp, it's little Prim, Katniss younger sister- who only hand her name in the hat once.

Katniss went to the wood to meet her friend Gale. He was waiting for her. They spent some time together, hunting and went back with strawberries and herbs too sell in black market.
